Way more fun than I was honestly expecting

“ I gave this to my kids (6g & 9b) over the holiday break and they had a good amount of fun with this. I had to get them started and explain the book but once that was done my son sort of took off on doing things. He finished the first page or so on the first day and still goes back to it when he says hes bored. Which is typically after hes lost video games or electronics but I think that exactly what this book is for. The activities in the book that we've unscratched have been engaging and fun. Highly recommend!”

"My kids nearly started World War III the other day arguing over who got to scratch off the back of a gift card — so I knew if nothing else, the scratch off element of this would be a hit. Getting to write and draw in a book (as it encourages) has also been fun for them. In addition to the scratch off activities, there are a few pages of 1 and 2 player games (tic tac toe, a maze, etc), for a little variety. I like how sturdy the pages are and am almost as curious as my kids to see the rest of the ideas."

“ I have several kids and hear all too often the dreaded, "I'm bored," complaint. This book is a perfect way to get them involved in an activity without too much work. There's a few activity pages with games and puzzles that they can just draw on, but most of the pages are scratch off ideas...just prompts to jump start their creativity. We haven't scratched everything off, but be aware that some of the prompts may require items on hand, or creativity in substituting. Even just the act of picking which block to scratch off can sometimes be enough to get them out of the boredom funk and on to something else.”

"This is a tough item to review because everything is hidden behind scratch offs! So far, my three kids have fought over who got to do the first page, which states who the book belongs to. The first activity was to draw a picture of yourself, so my 8 year old divided the space into parts so they could each draw themselves and wrote in that it belongs to "the family". I love the sturdy pages and my kids love the scratch off aspect. t's a cute idea that has kept them occupied off screens for a little bit while we've been snowed in and out of school, so it's a win so far from me!"
